Our Tiny House
This is our first Tiny House available for guests starting May 1st, 2016.
Blue Moon sits upon 35 acres abutting the Roosevelt National Forest outside Fort Collins, CO. So, you can either explore the big hill and valley on our property, relax enjoying the privacy and wildlife in the meadow tucked in our valley of the Rocky Mountains, take off into the National Forest for a hike, or spend the day touring Fort Collins.
Our Tiny House is a stunning contemporary design hand-crafted by MitchCraft Tiny Homes, under 200 square feet, with all the amenities, and operates completely off-grid without any connection to public utilities or a well.
The loft has hand-crafted stairs leading to a queen size mattress.
The main level living area has a striking kitchenette with a butcher block countertop and stainless steel backsplash that runs all the way to the ceiling behind open shelving. In our kitchen space you’ll find a three burner gas stove and small oven, a 4.5 cubic foot refrigerator (larger than a mini fridge, but smaller than an apartment size), as well as a full size sink and all of the essential tools to prepare a meal or bake cookies.
Also in the main living space is a built in bench seat with cushions, an ottoman, a drop leaf table for dining or games and to use as a workspace for a laptop, ample storage in cupboards, drawers, and a closet with hangars, and a propane heater for those chilly winter nights.
Don’t forget to bring your camera and binoculars! We have elk, deer, coyotes, mountain goats, bald eagles, bluebirds, big horn sheep, on rare occasions a bear, and so much more roaming around the mountains of the National Forest and overflowing into our land.
